Germany is not a big enough country to devote all of its land to creating renewable energy – but there is another place with vast expanses of empty space and limitless sunshine.

Who doesn’t like vacationing in beautiful and fascinating countries – like those of Southeast Asia, perhaps? Tourism is an important economic factor for many developing and emerging economies, but it can often also create problems for the environment and the local population.

Part 2 highlights the negative aspects of tourism, but also shows ways in which tourists can contribute to the local economy and travel more sustainably overall.
