After being eradicated in around 1900, the bearded vulture is once again soaring through the Alps! Here, you’ll see shots of them making their home in Austria’s spectacular Hohe Tauern National Park.

More than four-and-a-half million Germans visit the Spanish island of Mallorca every year—so many that the destination actually been nicknamed “Germany’s 17th Federal State.” But since the coronavirus outbreaks in Spain led to the Mediterranean party hotspot being declared a risk territory, the once-packed bars, strips, and beaches are now totally deserted. Sarah continues exploring the Christmas market in Karlsruhe. She visits the talking "fairy tale boxes," the ice skating rink, and a stand where they make crêpes with Nutella!

Sarah shows us around Karlsruhe's "Christkindlesmarkt" Christmas Market, which has three areas. She stops at various stands to buy a gingerbread heart, a mulled wine, and some alcohol-free children's punch.

The autumn is short-lived in Vorarlberg, and soon the mountain landscape is blanketed in snow. The ibexes are provided with feeding stations to ensure that they survive the winter.

In this video, we get to observe the mating rituals of the chamois, and how a mother protects her young from a fox on the hunt.

Autumn in the Alps brings with it all kinds of new sights: the woolly sheep are rounded up by their owners, the larches are ablaze in color, the squirrels prepare for winter, and the mating battles are in full force among the stags.

As autumn approaches, the sheep are brought back to their winter quarters. In this segment, we also see how beautiful the region is in the evenings.

Canyoning is another popular activity in the Alps, but it isn't for the faint of heart. In a glorious natural setting, the group faces some tough passages and harrowing jumps over waterfalls.
