Bookshop owner Oskar isn't exactly happy when his brother suddenly appears. He is as skeptical of his brother's intentions as actress Yvonne Klosterfeld is of the notion of true love.

Oskar has a crush on his neighbor, a famous actress, but only has contact with her through the items she gets sent to his store.

Oskar finds out that he is terminally ill and only has four weeks to live. Meanwhile, Yvonne's sponsored child from Zimbabwe shows up at her front door.
