Oswald the dog is ill and Jonas is very worried about him. While his father is getting ready to put Oswald out of his misery, Jonas seeks help from the new vet in town.

Dr. Hansen still doesn't have any patients, and his daughters are getting worried, too. Is there anything they can do to help? Meanwhile, he finally meets Jonas's family.

Jonas's world implodes when he realizes that Oswald has gone. His father must have discovered his hideout...
