Schotty turns up at a huge office building for his next cleaning job, but the employee at the reception does not make things easy.

The longer Schotty has to wait to start his cleaning assignment, the weirder this office block seems to get. We also learn how the victim died: It was death by chandelier.

Schotty is still waiting to start work and watching the TV in the lobby to pass the time. Meanwhile, strange things seem to be going on all around him, with many familiar faces.

Schotti's patience is wearing thin. How much more of this nonsense should he be expected to put up with? And what is going on, anyway?

The situation is getting more and more bizarre and Schotty is starting to feel uneasy about it all. He just wants to get away.

The next person Schotty encounters is Merle, the love of his life. They talk about their relationship and mutual regret about having so little time together, but she seems to know something he doesn't.

Merle delivers the speech she has prepared for Schotty, which he finds deeply moving, and the two of them end up in each other's arms.

Ever the optimist, Schotty still believes that everything will turn out all right. Certainly, the suspense goes on until the very end!
