For conversations with acquaintances and friends, you need to be able to use the informal plural pronoun ihr and conjugate verbs accordingly.
For ihr, there is no stem change. For the present tense, you simply remove the -en at the end of the infinitive and replace it with either -t or -et. Have a look:
Ihr gebt die geliehenen Bücher an Freunde weiter?
You pass the borrowed books on to your friends?

Quite often, nouns that end in -fall are closely connected with the related verb ending in fallen. But as we know from last week's lesson, many of those verbs have little to do with physically falling—and the same goes for their respective nouns. What might help is knowing that the noun der Fall itself can be translated not only as "the fall," but as "the case," "the situation," "the instance," or "the circumstances."
