In German, the verb einrichten and the noun die Einrichtung are closely related, but used in different ways. Their translations are generally context-dependent.

The verb einrichten means to set up, furnish, install, or establish something. You would use this verb for arranging furniture in your living room, setting up an account, or establishing an organization.

Man kann nicht einfach so überall einen Zebrastreifen einrichten.
