This part is about the offspring of the various inhabitants of the Feldberg lakes. How do the parents behave after the mating season? How dangerous is life for the various species, and how do they protect themselves?

A few very special insect species can be found around the Feldberg Lakes. Otters and other water creatures also live here, and the full moon seems to have a special effect on them.

The meadows around the Feldberg Lakes are home to an enormous variety of floral and fauna. While deer, foxes, and hares live on land, predatory and non-predatory fish can be found underwater, where the natural balance is being threatened by anglers.

The condition of the aquatic habitat is checked at regular intervals by conservationists and some interesting discoveries have already been made. Meanwhile, the ospreys are gradually training their young to become independent.
