This video is about the life of alpine farmers along the Königssee and how they handle their cows. The journey also continues to the mysterious Untersberg, which is known for its legends and caves.

We accompany cave explorers in the Untersberg. Deep underground, they explore unknown terrain, work under extreme conditions, and are completely cut off from the outside world. Teamwork and trust are vital for survival.

The next stage of our journey through the Alps takes us to the Chiemgau region in the far south of Bavaria. Here lies the beautiful Lake Königssee, which cuts through the mountain landscape like a fjord. In this video, we also learn how the Watzmann—a mountain surrounded by many legends—got its name.
