Lona and Elling come across a very interesting photo among Peters's belongings and head to the hospital to continue their investigation—being careful not to draw the attention of the medical staff.

Before Lona brings Peters into the hospital, she makes him promise not to give her and Elling away.

Having been shot, Peters is lying on the ground, groaning, pleading, and fighting for his life. Elling cannot bring himself to shoot him, so Lona plants her gun on Peters and loads him into her camper van.

Toni Sauper carefully prepares his horseback riding tours in the Alps and repeatedly explores new paths in the high mountains for this purpose. The journey continues through the impressive landscape of the High Tauern with its mountain lakes, glaciers, and important water reservoirs.
