Madeleine continues to be blackmailed, but Nina, Emma, and Max are on the case. Meanwhile, Matteo leaves the house and runs right into the main suspect.

When Nina finds out that her brother Matteo has disappeared, she and her detective friends form a search party.

Matteo is found relatively quickly, but it causes Max, Nina, and Emma to miss an appearance of the culprit. When photos of Madeleine are posted on the internet, it's time to take action. Luckily, the young detectives know who might have the information they need.

After a second wallet is stolen, everyone becomes even more suspicious of Nina. Max is still convinced that she didn't steal anything, and while he and Emma are in math class, Henri stands watch outside the gym.

After the Peppercorns wrap up the case of the stolen wallets, Max sets off on his bike to his grandmother's food truck – and has an unfortunate encounter along the way.

Max confronts Dragan about the money Dragan is demanding from Max's grandmother... then finds himself in a bad situation.

Emma is determined to help Max, who is being blackmailed by a drug dealer. Nina continues to claim that she doesn't need any friends and doesn't want to join the Peppercorns. Meanwhile, a student has a bad reaction to the happy pills...

After Anna is taken to the hospital, Nina goes to find Emma, only to learn that Emma's in Sankt Pauli trying to trace the origins of the drugs.

Having broken into Dragan's place, Emma and Nina learn that he is using their classmates to push drugs at their school and others. Suddenly, the dealers come back to their hideout – and the girls are trapped!

If the drug dealer Dragan finds out that the Peppercorns are on his trail, he’ll surely make trouble for them. Fortunately, Emma, Nina, and Max are able hatch a plan to get Dragan arrested before it's too late.

Emma, Henri, and Max want Nina to join the Peppercorns, but she's very reluctant to engage with them. Emma picks Nina as her partner for a photo project, hoping that she’ll find out more about her. But then something unexpected happens…

Emma and Nina follow Milla, the girl who ran off with their camera, and confront her in her messy apartment, where she lives with her sick mother. Although they manage to get the camera back, Nina’s relief is clouded by the fact that she feels sorry for Milla.

Nina gets in trouble with her father when he finds out she was the one who damaged the headmistress’s car. Meanwhile, Leila’s ex-partner Mark shows up to help Milla clean their filthy apartment.

Milla, Leila, and Mark have cleaned the place up for Ms. Wiedemann's visit. Is everything going to go as planned?

Milla thanks Emma for not exposing the truth during the youth welfare officer’s visit to the apartment. Meanwhile, Max and Henri set off to visit Nina’s old school — and come closer to cracking her secret.

The Peppercorns finally find out why Nina was bullied at her old school. Meanwhile, Emma has a guilty conscience about having lied on Milla’s behalf — did she do the right thing? Jan heads over the next day to try to sort things out with Milla and her mother in person.

Jan finds Milla’s mother just in time, and makes sure that she is taken to hospital. But where’s Milla? Emma and Nina go looking for her. With everything resolved, it’s time for the new team of Peppercorns to take the oath.

Nina is acting quite strange... Could it be that she's in love? Meanwhile, the donation box has been stolen from the school administrator’s office!

Matteo is caught by Mr. Sass with the stolen donation box, but claims that it was given to him by… a tiger? With Mr. Sass threatening to punish Matteo for a theft he may not have committed, the Peppercorns get to work on cracking the case.

Franzi confronts her father, Nina has trouble with Max, and the Pellicanos discuss the accusation made against Matteo – while Mr. Sass threatens to call the youth welfare office.

After the Peppercorns conclude that Franzi must have been stealing from their classmates, Max confronts her in the boxing gym. But there's a lot about Franzi that he doesn't know.

Franzi tells Nina that she was the one who stole the cash box. But Nina doesn’t believe her – so Franzi finally tells Nina the truth about her dad, who’s promised to never steal again. The Peppercorns decide to put him to the test.

When Max is at a boxing match with Nina, he gets a call from Emma: Eddie has run away! Should they call the police? Max has another idea…

As Mr. Sass apologizes to Matteo for accusing him of stealing the cash box, Nina announces that the real culprit has turned himself in. Grandpa announces that he’ll be visiting from Italy earlier than expected, and Nina’s dad fends off a secret admirer.

Maria, Nina, and Matteo are horrified to find that someone has completely destroyed the surprise they put together for Antonio. Luckily, the Peppercorns are on the case.

Emma discovers that hydrangeas are being cut off all over the neighborhood. Meanwhile, Jackie is heartbroken over being rejected by Nina’s dad. But that’s not her biggest problem right now…

Nina's grandpa arrives in good spirits. He’s even brought along Nina's cousin Marcello, who Max still thinks is Nina's ex-boyfriend! Meanwhile, Emma watches with interest as Jackie gets into a heated argument on the phone with her irresponsible brother, Marvin.

In the bathroom of Jackie’s houseboat, Emma discovers the cut-off hydrangeas and calls Henri. Just as Henri starts telling her about all the dangers of smoking these flowers, Tarik unexpectedly shows up…

Just as Tarik realizes that Emma is hiding in the houseboat bathroom with the stolen hydrangeas, Max arrives and threatens to call the cops. Later, Max angrily approaches Marcello about Nina, but they don't share a common language, which results in a big misunderstanding.

The day of the award ceremony has arrived, and everyone is in a great mood — except for Max, who’s furious with Nina and refuses to speak with her. Meanwhile, rumors are flying among the church congregation about the nature of Hannes and Jan’s relationship.

While cleaning out the headquarters to find items to bring to the flea market, Henri digs up an old Geiger counter. Meanwhile, Hannes’s ex-girlfriend Debbie shows up and starts behaving inappropriately, and Nina doesn’t understand why Max still won’t talk to her.

When Henri notices that his Geiger counter has gone off, he quickly alerts Emma. Emma’s convinced it’s just an old piece of junk, but when Debbie sees what’s going on, she makes a suspicious phone call. Meanwhile, Max is still refusing to talk to Nina.

An intruder grabs Henri — is he going to kidnap him? Meanwhile, Nina gets stuck in the elevator with Max, who may now finally be forced to talk to her.

At lunch, it becomes clear that Debbie is actually a pretty shady character. Meanwhile, Henri is kidnapped, and Nina and Max finally have it out in the broken elevator…

Max and Nina are trying to make the best of their awkward time stuck in the elevator together. Meanwhile, Henri is very relieved when Emma finally comes home. Together they search for evidence against Debbie… and find it!

After learning what Henri and Emma have uncovered in their investation, Hannes realizes the truth about the origins of the tea Debbie sold to them. In the meantime, the maintenance technician hurries over to fix the elevator – but maybe it wasn’t such an emergency after all. See for yourself!
