The first "Kartoffelsalat," acknowledged by all involved as a terrible film, is now getting a sequel!

The international press is shocked to hear that the worst film of all time is getting a sequel. But with "Kartoffelsalat 2" ["Potato Salad 2"], comedian Torge Oelrich has struck again.

Wolfgang Paschke stops by the house to say hi to his wife and finds his son in the middle of a snowball fight. Unfortunately, he has to go back out again.

Jan abandons his marriage and moves in with Bettina, but it is not easy to start a new life together.

Paschke has some trouble at the bank and we get the impression that he is experiencing some financial problems.

Bettina takes Jan to the place where she served her prison sentence. Jan begins to re-consider how he's lived his life both during the GDR and afterwards.

In the final part of the film, Bettina and Jan learn the hard way that many people don't understand or believe in their relationship. However, Andreas still retains positive feelings about Bettina, which gives her some confidence.

After Paschke leaves the bank, it is robbed by two men who then proceed to leave what they stole in Paschke's car.

Comedian Pierre M. Krause hits the streets to conduct interviews about a variety of real and fake topics.

After liquor is secretly added to his beer at the bar, Paschke runs off the road on the icy drive home and is caught by the police. Meanwhile, there are no leads as to who the bank robbers may have been.

Paschke is questioned at the police station and then lies to his wife about how his night ended.

Paschke is fired the morning after his accident, and finds the bag of money as he is removing his things from the company's vehicle.
