Marga's new friendships continue to develop as she considers her options and tries to determine the best way to take down Mr. Ohrmann. At the same time, she has also begun to sympathize with him.

When the police come to search his house, Mr. Ohrmann entrusts Marga with incriminating documents. The window of opportunity is there, but Marga starts to feel quite unsure about the whole thing.

Marga confronts Mr. Ohrmann with her terms, but it may be too late for him to do the right thing and save himself.

Mr. Ohrmann tries to call to turn himself in, but the line is busy. Luckily, Dr. Gössel is determined to give him a chance.

Mr. Ohrmann admits to his wife that he also conned Marga, and tries to reconcile with his daughter. Marga realizes that Mr. Ohrmann going to jail also has negative consequences for her own life...

In one last attempt to save Marga's living situation, Ohrmann instructs her to find a little book in his office before his colleagues can get to it.

With Ohrmann in custody and his partners trying to take over, Marga scrambles to solve the company's problems.

Marga confronts both of Mr. Ohrmann's colleagues and lays out their options. Word gets out that she has been named the new chair of the Ohrmann Group.

Marga and Herr Ohrmann meet in prison to discuss business. Ohrmann has noticed that Dr. Gössel is a good man, perhaps a good man for Marga?
