"Kuckuck, Kuckuck, ruft's aus dem Wald" (Cuckoo, Cuckoo, Calls from the Woods) is a children's song written by the German poet August Heinrich Hoffmann, also known as Hoffmann von Fallersleben. The song is about the arrival of spring and the call of the cuckoo.
