Heiko "Schotty" Schotte is the "Tatortreiniger," a crime scene cleaner in the greater Hamburg area. Arriving at a job, he quickly finds himself attracted to a receptionist and wants to ask her out — but unfortunately he’s three days into a year-long “women-fast.”

Schotty is accompanied by Professor Lütting to the grisly scene of the crime — but his horror gives way to curiosity when he’s introduced to the institute’s secret project, E.M.M.A. 206.

Here, Schotte — who is on day three of his women-fast — learns about the advantages of the robot woman E.M.M.A. He’s tempted to start saving up to buy his own — but then he learns how Professor Handke actually died.

When Professor Lütting is called away for an operation involving currywurst, Schotte has a moment to flirt with the receptionist and then spend some time alone with female robot E.M.M.A. 206. But he’s also afraid of causing another accident…

While Schotty cleans up the crime scene, E.M.M.A. gets him talking.... and laughing! She cleverly engages him in a conversation about his exes.

E.M.M.A. proves to be an excellent listener. With a few very focused questions, she gets Schotty rambling about human emotions in general, and his relationships in particular.

Scotty's philosophical monologue continues, and he begins questioning the meaning and usefulness of emotions, all while E.M.M.A. listens patiently. Then the receptionist returns to the lab, attracting his attention…

After Schotty finishes cleaning up the professor’s grisly remains, he goes to ask out the friendly receptionist – but then he suddenly has a revelation about what actually transpired at the lab.
