While Lona unlocks Peters's phone in the hospital room, Elling talks to the director of the hospital in order to distract her. Jasper is still screaming desperately for help, and just as Lona and Elling are examining Peters's vehicle, several police cars arrive with officers and forensics.

Prosecutor Ross questions Lona Mendt and Frank Elling about the circumstances of Peters's accident. Their statements arouse his suspicion, and the two try to respond carefully and convincingly.

The interrogation is over, and Elling leaves the bungalow.
Meanwhile, Jasper is still tied up in the bunker when the door opens and his captor approaches. Finally, this is Jasper's chance to escape.

Lona and Elling drive to the site where Jasper was killed so that Lona can try to find some closure.

Lona and Elling get some rest in Lona's camper van. As the rain pours down outside, they contemplate their future.

Elling bluntly confronts Brit, Benedikt's wife, about her husband's infidelity. But she already knows about it and seems to have come to terms with it. Meanwhile, at the campground, Lona shows a photo to a group of locals and gets some new information.

Our detectives visit Dr. Hildebrandt, the hospital director's father, and question him about his relationship with Alexander Beck.

Lona and Elling go to the Ministry of Health to question Dieter Turn, the owner of a number that keeps appearing on Peters' phone. What was the connection between the two men?
