The 18-kilometer Fehmarn Belt Tunnel connecting Denmark and Germany will be the longest immersed tunnel in the world. This video explains how 360,000 tons of steel and 3 million cubic meters of concrete are being used to create the tunnel, which will run between Rødbyhavn on the island of Lolland and Puttgarden on the eastern coast of Schleswig-Holstein.
