Lona and Elling drive to the site where Jasper was killed so that Lona can try to find some closure.

The interrogation is over, and Elling leaves the bungalow.
Meanwhile, Jasper is still tied up in the bunker when the door opens and his captor approaches. Finally, this is Jasper's chance to escape.

Prosecutor Ross questions Lona Mendt and Frank Elling about the circumstances of Peters's accident. Their statements arouse his suspicion, and the two try to respond carefully and convincingly.

While Lona unlocks Peters's phone in the hospital room, Elling talks to the director of the hospital in order to distract her. Jasper is still screaming desperately for help, and just as Lona and Elling are examining Peters's vehicle, several police cars arrive with officers and forensics.

Lona and Elling come across a very interesting photo among Peters's belongings and head to the hospital to continue their investigation—being careful not to draw the attention of the medical staff.

Before Lona brings Peters into the hospital, she makes him promise not to give her and Elling away.

Having been shot, Peters is lying on the ground, groaning, pleading, and fighting for his life. Elling cannot bring himself to shoot him, so Lona plants her gun on Peters and loads him into her camper van.

After it is revealed that Frauke Claassen tried to frame Torben Witt, Eileen Claassen asserts her independence. Harry and Lothar get revenge on Dirk for his role in the confusion surrounding Harry's training program.

Harry and Henning have to apologize to Ina Grote and Onno Wulf. Meanwhile, the truth about what happened at Frauke Claassen's house is revealed.

It seems as if Torben has been caught red-handed and the evidence adds up against Onno. Can they convince the police of their innocence?

The police doubt the credibility of the evidence against Torben Witt and continue to watch over the Claassen residence. Meanwhile, Ina Grote helps with the arrest of Onno Wulf.

Frauke Claassen is certain that Torben set her car on fire, and the evidence also seems to point to him. Meanwhile, it becomes clear that Onno Wulf has been tampering with the card reader in Ina Grote's shop.

Harry, Henning, and Lothar find Onno Wulf's criminal record and warn Ina Grote. Harry finds out that Lothar is going to the training program, and confronts Dirk, who finds yet another excuse.
