Wolfgang is kidnapped by the actual thieves, but manages to cleverly escape. However, the chief superintendent is waiting at his house.

Paschke, still disguised as Santa Claus, says he is making a delivery to Berlin to avoid the police and his wife. Unfortunately, his photo is in the paper and everyone has seen it.

Patrizia finds out about Superintendant Hagenbach's suspicions, as does the whole town. Paschke tries to decide what to do with the money.

The bank robbers steal the wrong bag from Paschke's house. All Paschke wants now is to give the money back.

While the bank robbers are chasing down every Santa Claus they see, Wolfgang Paschke seems to be developing a plan.

Paschke escapes the burglars once more and goes back to Ms. Kringel, who has counted the money and found that there is only half of the amount the bank manager claimed had been stolen.

Wolfgang runs to the house, but is arrested at the door. Meanwhile, there is a suspicious traffic jam in town and Frau Kringel seems to be very pleased with herself.

The real bank robbers are caught and now it is time to find the other half a million euros. Luckily, Paschke has a hunch where it has ended up, and is able to help the police catch the other thief in time and have a merry Christmas.
