Oswald the dog is ill and Jonas is very worried about him. While his father is getting ready to put Oswald out of his misery, Jonas seeks help from the new vet in town.

Nina and her colleague Daniel ask Mirko whether he has contacted the criminal investigation department as promised. Harry Möller tells her colleague about the date she went on the previous evening, and Hannes overhears his chief officer, Frau Küppers, with whom he is secretly in love, talking about her dreams...

Frau Küppers considers that Dirk might be trying to protect Elias because of guilt he is feeling related to another case. Meanwhile, Paul is no closer to selling his van, and Elias still hasn't reached out for help.

While their parents are busy getting the house ready, Lilie and Greta go shopping and have their first experiences with the villagers. Greta doesn't exactly receive a warm welcome at school, but there is someone who stands up for her!

Part two of "Der gute Bulle" ("The Good Cop") begins with Dirk Matthies reflecting on everything that has happened so far. Dirk tries to get in touch with Elias, while Nina and Daniel decide to question Mirko.

Mads give Harry a pep talk before her date. Dirk Matthies receives a phone call from Elias and ends up finding out who Lena Stolz's murderer really is.
