In the first part of the season "Posthum" ("Posthumously"), we get a brief recap of what has happened so far. Then we follow Lona, Jasper, and Elling to the forensic institute, where the pathologist shares the results of his examination with the team, and the investigators speculate about the course of events.

Elling, Lona, and Jasper continue discussing the investigation results. Lona has discovered something that justifies a trip to Marnow, where Beck regularly stayed at a specific campsite once a year. Lona and Elling set off, leaving Jasper to conduct further investigations on site.

In an effort to find out more about Beck, Lona and Elling question Mr. Bender, the groundskeeper at the campsite in Marnow.

Lona strikes up a conversation with the campsite owner, Elling receives an unexpected offer from a stranger, and Lona gives Jasper an official order to meet her in Marnow.

Elling meets with the mysterious stranger at a restaurant, where he learns more about Beck's abuse of children. She hands him an envelope containing 20,000 euros, so he now finds himself in a moral dilemma...

Julia and Marie have recently moved to Berlin and are waiting for their friend Brigitta to arrive for a visit.

After picking her up from the train station, the two roommates are very excited to show Brigitta their apartment. She is impressed, but also very tired from traveling.

After a good night's sleep and a delicious breakfast, Brigitta's friends want to take her out to see their neighborhood. They hope that they can even convince her to move there.

Brigitta finds out that her friends are having some trouble getting along as roommates and communicating about their expectations.

When Marie comes home and has a few complaints about living with Julia, it's clear to Brigitta that the two of them need to talk.

When all three friends are back at the apartment, Brigitta encourages Marie and Julia to speak about what's bothering them.

Julia met a really nice guy at a party that the three friends attended. The next day, they talk about how she should proceed.
