In this segment, we find out that the thieves are in a very desperate situation. Meanwhile, Nina is heartbroken, and Max doesn't know how to face the fact that she's leaving town. Additionally, Jessi is annoyed with Luis, who is now spending all his time with Ceyda, the girl from the ferry.

Luis can't stop thinking about the case. In the morning, he has found the solution... In the meantime, father and daughter set about retrieving the loot from the ferry.

Our heroes are back on board the ferry looking for the thieves. Just as they are about to give up, they notice some unusual behavior. Are they on the right trail?

On a boat in the harbor, two teenagers meet by coincidence and under different preconceptions. One is off to meet a mysterious man who she claims is dangerous, while the other says the boat belongs to his father. Meanwhile, a cop on the night shift tries to sell his old van.

When he witnesses the lovely girl he's just met get shot, Elias calls the police, but he doesn't want to give his last name.

Nina and Paul arrive at the scene and find a man's wristwatch near the victim, who is around the same age as Paul's daughter. She still has her wallet, but it looks as if her cell phone has gone missing.

Mirko, an acquaintance of Daniel's, turns up at the police station with a question concerning a "friend of his" who has lost a gun... At the crime scene, two detectives make it clear to the other officers that they will now be taking over the investigation.

Dirk Matthies is still puzzled as to where Elias got his cell phone number. The detectives from the homicide squad come to his office to ask about it and their conversation is not exactly amiable.

With the help of surveillance camera footage, the officers from the 14th precinct discover that someone rode the victim's bicycle and then got on a train. Of course, this is Elias, the young man Dirk is trying to protect.

After a photo of Elias is released, Dirk has to try to find him however possible. Meanwhile, Nina and Paul try to take care of the financial issues they are each having.

The young suspect is spotted riding a woman's bike around town, so the patrol team sets out in pursuit, as do the homicide investigators. It's clear that the two teams really don't get along.
