As the whole precinct celebrates the safe return of the Miriam's baby, Dirk receives a surprising inheritance from Kutte...

Dirk goes to wake Kutte, only to find a very sad scene. Meanwhile, Harry and Henning wrap things up with the stolen mail incident.

Kutte refuses to go to a shelter for the night. Miriam finally turns up at the police station looking for her baby, and they all head over to her father's... only to discover that the baby's no longer there.

Henning and Harry discover that Potowski did in fact steal the letters, then find him in grave danger. Dirk reaches a decision about Kutte, and Miriam realizes that trusting her father with her newborn was a very bad decision.

Miriam's mother confronts her about the baby and refuses to accept her decision to keep it, eventually kicking her out. Meanwhile, Harry begins to suspect that the building manager has something to hide...

The team desperately searches for the young mother and her baby, who is in need of medical attention. Dirk is torn as to whether he should adopt Kutte, because he isn't sure he can afford it.

While Lothar, Dirk, and Nicki contemplate life and death at the station, Miriam's baby disappears from the hospital and is known to be in grave danger. Meanwhile, Harry and Henning try to get to the bottom of the mail theft case that has caused a dispute between two neighbors.

Miriam's mother finds out that Miriam skipped school and locks her in her bedroom. Meanwhile, Henning and Harry investigate a fight between neighbors, and Dirk deals with Kutte.

The young mother cannot be found anywhere, and we learn that she is in high school and still lives at home. Kutte is found camped out in front of the precinct, despite Dirk having secured him a place to sleep at the night shelter.

Katja and Ben are part of a rare and special moment that then goes terribly awry: a woman gives birth to a baby boy before disappearing suddenly.

Dirk tries to console and help a homeless man named Kutte whom he has known for 15 years. While on patrol, Ben and Katja come across a young woman buckled over in severe pain.

Petri's colleague is arrested, and Petri and his wife make amends. It's time for Julius, the young runaway, to say goodbye to Harry and go home – but Dirk has one last surprise.

While Dirk bonds with the young runaway, Katja figures out what actually happened at the Harms company.

Henning shows up at Harry's to discuss the problems he's experiencing in his relationship, and is disappointed when Harry expresses the same opinions as his girlfriend. Then the doorbell rings...

Walter Petri refuses to believe that one of his designs could have been flawed, and is furious at his wife for talking with the company's boss behind his back.

At the station, the group tries to figure out whether Küppers is actually pregnant and where the young runaway came from. When Walter Petri returns to work and locks himself in his former office, the real reason for his early retirement is revealed.

At home with Harry, the runaway finally speaks. Meanwhile, Walter Petri follows Dirk's advice and returns to his former office – but he doesn't like what he finds there.

After Henning's mistake, the group finds the young stowaway hiding in a dumpster. Meanwhile, Lothar uncovers new information about Superintendent Küppers.

Harry and Henning are called to the harbor, where a young stowaway has been found on a ship that was leaving for Sweden. Henning takes a personal call, during which the young stowaway disappears.

Großstadtrevier is a German TV series about a group of police officers who work together in the city of Hamburg.
This episode immediately presents two mysteries at the station: one in the form of a fancy package for the police chief superintendent, and the other in the form of an angry phone call. Dirk and Katja are then called to a local company, where a man is refusing to leave his desk despite having retired.

Both perpetrators are caught in their respective crimes in this final segment, allowing Katja and Nicki to move on with their lives.

When the autopsy records reveal that Katja's father couldn't have killed himself, the group realizes it is time to go after the murderer. Meanwhile, Nicki learns that her father is deceiving her.

As they consider destroying the murder weapon, Lothar, Ben, and Katja go back to the scene of Katja's father's death.
